My concepts combine the use of illustration with imagery and modern typographic exploration. I am a hard worker who is always striving to improve and I will be an asset to your design team.

This project was created in my Type and Alternative media class as an outlet for the Steam community. While Steam might be a gaming distributive service created by Valve, there is an entire culture behind the community. This outlet was made to unite the community through events, creating games, writing reviews/articles of certain games or companies. I used a similar color palette to Steam, but made it more modern and added a gradient for more character. When creating the logo, I looked at multiple old gaming fonts and used typographic exploration to sketch out the typeface that I will use for the logo. When creating this design system, the variables I created were a website prototype, app prototype, and multiple advertisements.

For my Visual Language course I decided to create a new Visual Language for Warframe. I also have a motion piece that’s 1:45 on my portfolio website. I created an advertising campaign for Warframe by marketing the games weapons, orbiters, and allies on Instagram to attract gamers. The Visual Language I will be creating is very illustrative and inspired by graphic novels from DC Comics, Marvel, and Halo Comic books. Warframe has hundreds of weapons to choose from and I will be using the social media advertisements to express the gameplay. The reason why the weapons and gear will be advertised is because gameplay is the most important factor of a game and the reason why people play videogames is for the content and the gameplay. People want to have something that is entertaining and that will keep them busy for a long time. Graphics, and environments might be stunning, but the gameplay is the real reason that people go back to games. I hope this attracts new types of science fiction gamers and looter shooter gamers from games like Borderlands, Destiny, The Division, and more.

In my Communication Arts 3 course, I created a design system for a drone company called EAGLE. This drone company picked people up wherever they are, and flew them around their designation in their country. For this project, I created a design system advertising EAGLE that included billboards, social media advertisements, and posters.
