2021 Annual Exhibition
On behalf of the Product Design department faculty and senior students, I welcome you to the Otis Annual Exhibition for Product Design.
A hallmark of the Product Design department is the diversity of its students in their multidisciplinary skills in 2D, 3D, and fabrication skills and their diverse design interests, goals, and the work they produce, which they will be presenting in this virtual exhibition. The work ranges from disruptive innovation to speculative design that includes furniture, fashion accessories, jewelry, home, and office products, medical devices, appliances to interfaces, from pragmatic solutions for everyday use to provocative ideas meant to influence our future choices. The student work is highly individualized, reflecting the teaching approach during the pandemic of empowering individuality.
This year, we have a new interactive Product Design Live Exhibition that invites guests to visit each student gallery to view and talk with each student live. We invite you to join in and tour the galleries in this live exhibition experience. Enjoy the exhibition!
