About
I am a California-based designer experimenting with a wide variety of materials. Although wood is my desired medium, I believe that exploring and working with new materials provides a path to realize the objects and forms that I want to create. The line between art and design is something that can be blurred. My current body of work provided a platform to explore these ideas and is leading me towards creating both functional and sculptural objects while experimenting with materials.

Rift

This table pushes the functionality of dining furniture. It also challenges the tradition of the head of the table being the hierarchy of power.
Aitherios

This project was inspired by the process of bending wood, as well as sculptures that seem to be floating and almost weightless. I also drew a little from the Greek klismos chair.
Bush Viper

Inspiration for this project came from a specific animal, the Bush Viper, scientifically known as Atheris. The shape and the overlapping of the ottoman came from the scale of the snake.
