About
Hello there! My name's Brittney and I'm a storyboard artist and animator interested in toons and tunes. I love performance via drawing, developing stories, and collaborating with others. Resonating the most with time-based mediums, I strive to capture a sense of rhythm and energy with anything I create.
Below you can get a taste of the various projects I've had the opportunity to work on this past year. Some are self-motivated, others were created during my time as a Design Intern for the Otis Communications and Marketing department. When I'm not developing stories visually, you can find me fiddling a poem or two with my guitar. Thanks for the visit! Make sure to check out my website for ongoing development on my short: Nimble Rhapsody! (:

Nimble Rhapsody
I'm happy to present a short story I've been developing for the past year! Throughout the process, I've written a script, designed characters, developed various renditions of storyboards (the story was constantly changing!), and created a rough animatic. “Sucked into music, a musician must learn that alienation through passion is merely a distraction from a potential shared connection.”Personal Explorations

I'm a big fan of studying gestures and motion in the human figure. Here's a sample of recent drawings.

Gestural figure drawing studies from remote class: Dirty Pictures
Design Lab Internship
Under the supervision of Digital Media Specialist, Fawad Assadullah, I designed, storyboarded, and animated Otis' 2020 holiday card. Facing the challenge of remote work, all collaborative efforts were navigated through zoom meetings, software planning, and direct outreach to the Otis community for artwork. The video was shared with 35K subscribers of the Otis College mailing list and posted to all Otis social media channels, including YouTube.

An illustration I created to contribute to the Otis College annual holiday card. The letter 'S!' is used to spell out the phrase "Season's Greetings!".
I had the opportunity to animate this wonderful Valentine's day collage by Matt Horn for Otis' social media platforms. All motion was created in Adobe After Effects.
