About
Before starting my journey in architecture, I started painting at the age of 9. Practicing fine arts from the early stages of life developed my imaginary abilities, which became useful in my architecture journey. In each project, I imagine the original existing condition and experience it from multiple aspects. Then I would start the design process in my mind and try to make the initial experience more and more appealing. Eventually, I use computer programs to bring my imagination into reality.

Community Center & Police Station

  • South East View
    In this project, we introduced an infrastructure to would bring new engagement to the Bryant neighborhood of Minneapolis. The project is located two blocks away from where George Floyd was murdered. In respect to this unfortunate event, we reconsidered the relationship between a police station and the community. This 147,000 sq.ft. complex serves as a community center with an embedded police station. Landscape plays the most significant role in this project. I reshaped the existing topography to gradually introduce an animating element that would welcome the community into the building.

    This project was a conceptual warm-up exercise before starting the main project. Within a given unit, we were to incorporate a staircase and circulate the user from the bottom to the top level of the given module.

Dance With The Building

    The project is a dance school located in the heart of Hollywood.

    The fluid form of the façade is inspired by the body movements of dancers.

    The façade is entirely glazed with two types of window systems: fixed and retractable. The retractable window system is equipped with humidity-sensitive sensors, allowing natural air circulation throughout the building.
