Scout Parkerson
Fine Arts (Painting)

About
My name is Scout and I am a multi media visual artist with an emphasis in painting. My practice focuses on themes of nostalgia, home, and grief. I am a 2021 graduate of Otis College of Art and Design with a Bachelor in Fine Arts. I am inspired by tactile materials, music, and the people that keep me going. I have very ambitious goals for my future and I am impatient to get out in the world and start pursuing them.

A drug bag patchwork with a miscellaneous ziploc "chaos bag" that explores substance abuse and the opioid crisis.
-
A landscape painting of the self storage unit where we had band practice and goofed off at nearly every day.
-
Painted, studded, and hand altered leather jacket memorial for Peeley.
-
Do You Feel Safe? Sin 34 hand drawn sharpie tote.
-
A rubbing of Austin's gravestone.
