Greta Karr
Fine Arts (Painting)
About
Greta Karr is a Pennsylvania-born and Los Angeles-based multimedia artist, working predominantly in painting. Her work seeks to address themes of isolation, the Catholic church, material goods, size distortion, and romanticism. Her solo exhibition, TRAMP STAMP, is a body of paintings that celebrates the use of tattoos as a means of claiming one’s own body that is otherwise controlled by others, and hopes to bring new life to traditionally flat designs.
