3 weeks of character design work squeezed down to 3 minutes. Vi was one of the most redesigned character in this line; her hair, color scheme face, and fashion were constantly under scrutiny, and with such little time to finish this product I worked diligently to create a compelling and cute design.

A high-End Collectible doll line meant for older girls who are interested in collect more expensive fragile figures. Since most collectible figures are PVC/resin, $40+, and meant for ages 15 and up, Sweet Sorcerers are meant to fill that gap for girls who would like an introduction to the collecting world. These Dolls are based on the highly popular Maho Shoujo genre, meant to show girls that they all have that special magic in them.

Here you can see my whole process of drawing from finding the form to changing around elements, to lining and rendering. I was asked to create an image that I felt represented me and this spunky drawing of myself I feel encapsulates my energy, and aesthetic.

My whole life I never thought I'd be so in love with designing dolls. Growing up i was never really into them other than the more edgy brand of Bratz, but as I got older, and became more comfortable in my femininity, I absolutely adore drawing and ideating fashion, make up and looks for these girls. Empowering young girls to explore and be creative in whatever way they want, I feel as though if that's not what dolls were intended to do, its what they should and what I strive to create.
