Welcome to my portfolio! My name is Kathryn, but most folks call me Kat. I'm an LA transplant, originally from Anchorage, Alaska. (I traded the snow boots for flip-flops). I'm a 2021 graduate of Otis College of Art & Design with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Toy Design, with skills ranging from traditional sketching to digital rendering and illustration. My work has an emphasis on character design and wacky storytelling. Oh, and puns. Lots of puns.

    1951, somewhere off the coast of Florida: A nuclear submarine's implosion spews radioactive waste, causing a pet goldfish onboard to grow to enormous size. The newly-sentient fish, Captain Calico, rescues his fellow sea creatures, and they don robotic suits. What horrors are these creatures capable of? Well... they're still trying to figure that out.
