About the Artist
Tin Kei Kei was born and raised in Macau, China. She came to America in 2014 and now lives and works in Los Angles, California. Tin’s conceptual art practice lives in the contexts of nature and technology, revealing and provoking power structures and conflicts of culture intersections, as she embeds those discussions into the works and through the conversations they generate. She focuses on shifting perspectives to engage transformation in the ways we recognize reality, by using performance, installation, and video works to create new realities that overlap observation and philosophical thinking. In the process of making work, Tin proposes a both bodily and socially experimental space for you to enter and make conversation in.
