This book is about whales and the end of the universe, and there is an ever-present voice of someone with OCD (me) rationalizing everything on the page, connecting it to various subjects, and finding deeper meaning. The end of the book goes into detail about what OCD actually is and concludes with an article on existential OCD. There is a distinct style and structure for each topic.
I wrote a manifesto outlining my process and values as an artist and turned it into a vinyl album cover and lyric sheet.
I created an entity with an intricate system of deliverables. I called it the lowercase and its goal was to provide accessible information in a variety of ways to educate people on the unsustainable nature of capitalism. The main vehicle was a magazine with a board game on the back based on Lizzie Magie’s The Landlord’s Game. I created strict rules for the typography and design based on the intent of the organization.
