The Layout of Lighting the World
Image description
In Chinese, we always use "Lighting the World" to describe the peaceful life. It implies that the place where people live is prosperous and brightly lit. I hope to use this set of designs to include Chinese elements and express that we are now in a peaceful and prosperous world.

The Garment of the Balenciaga Design
Image description
In the Mentor Project with Balenciaga, I chose one of the designs and made it into a finished garment. This dress uses a huge silhouette to create a loose and fluffy feeling. Although this is a large jacket design, I still want to have enough flow, so I used a very light nylon fabric in the choice of fabric.

The Garment of the Mars
Image description
Among the designs of Mars, I chose this dress to make it into a finished product. In this dress, my partner and I used a lot of leather samples. The organza on the skirt shows the pattern of Mars by printing, and the prototype skirt highlights the shape of Mars. In the Boning area, we made an innovation. Instead of using ordinary boning, we added iron wires to support the entire skirt.
About the Artist
Hi my name is Yuhan Zhou, you can call me Han. These are my pieces that represent what I have learned at Otis during my four years of college. Most of my design direction is women's casual clothes, but there is also a group with a little bit of Costume. In addition to designing and drawing, I also put some pictures of the finished clothes I made, I hope this will let everyone see my sewing skills.
