Melissa Nawas

Melissa Nawas is a toy designer with a drive to learn new things and expand her skillset. She is currently studying at Otis College of Art & Design for her BFA in Toy Design. Her passion for toys and learning has brought her to gain many experiences at companies such as NBC Universal, Jazwares, Mattel, and Jada Toys.  Melissa discovered the toy industry during her first year of college and fell in love with all of the areas of toy design. She found her love and passion through sketching, character design, rendering, project management, brainstorming, 3D prototyping, and more. She was able to utilize all of these skills during her many internships and work experiences. Melissa has found a passion for all types of toys, finding joy in the many brands she’s worked on, including Jurassic World, Gabby’s Dollhouse, Trolls, Star Wars, Monster Jam, Disney Princess, and more.
