About the Artist
Julie, who also goes by her artist alias, Kubeba, is a motion designer with a background in Illustration. Born in Montreal, Canada she decided to further pursue her education in California to obtain her Bachelor of Fine Arts emphasis in Motion Design at Otis College. Her style is very evident in her work as she loves to mix both 2D and 3D elements together to create dynamic and engaging visuals. Her work is easily distinguishable as she is drawn to vivid colors and a clean aesthetic. She draws a lot of influence from animals and nature. Incredibly passionate about design and animation, she strives to create work that is not only visually appealing but also meaningful and impactful. In her free time, she enjoys painting murals and spending time with her beloved German Shepherd, Baloo.
