These sandals are inspired by local sustainability in Los Angeles. The materials used in the sandals combine local organic materials and waste materials from urban life to reduce carbon emissions and industrial waste generated by industrial manufacturing.

Red-Crowned Crane Pendant
Image description
The design of the pendants is based on the theme of the endangered animal, the red-crowned crane. The three pendants are inspired by the interaction of the crane, the motifs used in ancient China, and the minimalist forms of traditional Chinese furniture.
About the Artist
I am a designer from China. I have a passion for product design because I like to take on different design challenges, especially those related to improving the environmental impact of products. I hope that future product designers will break the boundaries and work together to design products with fewer carbon emissions, are more recyclable, and are more energy-efficient to mitigate the deterioration of the world's environment. My current career aspiration is to become a footwear designer. I want my designs to bring a comfortable experience to the users and keep exploring better environmental design solutions.
