Long term spiritual food and some real bread

Long term spiritual food and some real bread (Book Cover)
When people cannot show their faces in public, we rely on other senses to believe in something. I began to recall protagonists and plots that I would never have conjured under other circumstances.

"I used my iPad to create daily drawings and meditate while resting during the writing breaks of this book. The artwork in this book is all digital, and was all produced during writing breaks. I felt like Covid-19 helped me dig into the digital world to create art, and my stubborn ego still prefers the look of old techniques of drawing and painting, but translated into the virtual universe. My art functions through performance mode, installation, music, storytelling, both in print and via live reading. The work ignites a litany of properties in each context—the intimacy of being face to face with a painting or engulfed in a room of projected light, disappearing into a fictive space that’s transformative for the viewer. I started to write this book at the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic. When people cannot show their faces in public, we rely on other senses to believe in something. I locked myself down in the garage and typed out the sentences that have been stuck in my throat.
